    Llyn Llech Owain

I popped down to this location yesterday hoping for a nice sunset, that didn't happen and it was very cloudy. But here is one of the shots I took, I'm going to get back down there soon.

Matt a lovely shot, like how you composed it and well worth the sinking in the mud to get. I was wonder what if you lessen the red and then brought the orange up just a touch, I think it will remove the warmth but the orange may make it a touch more golden and will also strengthen the colour in the sky.

    Cheers: Allan

Hi Matt, very nice place indeed. As you will go and shoot again , you might as well convert this one to B&W I tried it with PS's default B&W conversion and it looked good to me .

Its nice Binnur. I really like that, maybe because the sky is a bit bland it works better in B&W?

Hard to choose, but I still think I prefer the coloured one for the greens and yellows.

This is one case where I like both equally.

You live in a stunning part of the world, Matt. I like the layers of yellow and green in this scene. Did you add the yellow toning to the clouds or is that a natural effect?

    Thanks Greg.

There was a faint yellow tone to the clouds but I've increased the saturation locally just to make it a bit more prominent.
