    reflection of a ride

Haven't had much time to be doing photography the last few weeks but this is something I did about a month ago and just got around to doing something with it this weekend. Awhile ago I posted some reflections that I had taken and this is another one. In the beginning I wasn't sure about doing this type of image but I am starting to really enjoy looking for things that could be possibilities. This was taken at an equestrian event that I was working at as a first aid attendent. The original shows the horse, rider, and the reflection. This is cropped from the original.
Any critiques or comments are most welcomed.

I like this, Rita. My only quibble would be the bright area of water on the left: it seems a little too lright and lacking in detail.

I like it Rita but just curious...is this a composite?

Hi Greg, I will see what I can do with the bright piece. Glad you mentioned this because I wasn't sure about it either

Izzie, thank you. And no, it isn't a composite, just the reflection in the water of the horse jumping.

    Thank John.

Well done Rita, I like this and it to me anyway, would probably be harder to capture than the normal image

Going on what Greg said about lack of detail in the one area of the image I have done a quick re-do of my edit. Might have gone too far the other way now but here it is.....

This has to be planned...I can't possibly shoot this kind spontaneously...Nice piece of work -- almost artsy but not because it is real...Good job!

    Thank you David and Kristy.

Izzie, wish I could say that this was spontaneously but it wasn't. I was at this event from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. so there was lots of opportunity to practice.

Love it, your have inspired me, I feel like going out now and getting action shots like this. It would be difficult coming up with the right position. Composition is great.
