    Garden of Eden (Series)

Ok not the real one but this place does come close for me! The actual place is called Craig-y-Nos Country Park I used to go here when I was a kid for picnics Had a day off work so I went up early with nothing in my mind to shoot, just see how it goes.

Anyway here are some of the better images, C&C welcomed.

A nice set here Matt. Looks to be a beautiful spot with lots of potential for further images.

The first one is the one you entered in the mini competition. I just saw it a few minutes ago before I saw your post and I wonder if a human element in awe of the view is needed to complete this picture...

Maybe sitting on the bench? I suppose I could set my timer and make a run for it

VERY nice set Matt. The clarity , colour and light are marvelous along with the compositions and reflections.
I suspect the not so better ones are still winners judging by these.

Its only a 5 minute drive from my house so I definitely won't be a stranger to the place

Lovely set Matt IMO highlights on the water are a bit too much in #3 and #4. Did you use an ND filter for #3? I think it is a long exposure and an ND filter might be helpful, you wouldn't get blown out parts in the image with it.

I'll give that a try the next time I go there, it will probably be myself in the image though as its hard trying to convince other people to model for you at 6am on a Saturday morning.

Thanks Binnur I actually did use an ND filter for #3 but obviously the exposure was still too long. But in all honesty the highlights are OK for me in this one, but I can see how they would be too much for some (most) people.
