    I think you need to desaturate the colours a bit. And take care of some noise too. It looked fine on Flickr. May be because there I saw the smaller size.

    Hi Carol,

    You put it in the competitions forum - so I moved it here for you, with a shortcut (that expires in 2 days) to here from it's original location

    Why would you want to delete it? It's a wonderful shot!

    Don't do that, tell us a bit about it instead;
    Where is it?
    What was the shooting data (EXIF is missing so I can't tell that way) ?
    What did you do to it in PP?
    How close did that get to what you wanted?
    Was there anything you wanted achieve, in shooting or PP, but couldn't?

    As you say in the very apt title, it is surreal, so really anything goes, including the noise - if that's what you wanted, but if it isn't, then Sahil's suggestion on that is valid, especially given the saturation, which almost certainly was intended.

    It really does help us (to help you) if you tell us more in the pictures you post (e.g. the info in my questions above could be a template).

    Cheers,

    The Loretto Chapel, Santa fe New Mexico. History attached but too lengthy to go into unless you want me to!
    No EXIF data other than taken in auto mode as this was the first time I'd use the canon g7.
    PP messed around and had fun in Phixr!
    Sorry re. no info. now or in the past but I'll definitely work on that, sometimes I'd forget the settings I used, (very embarrassing) but I will be more cognizant of that in future. Thanks Dave and co. I really really appreciate you guys putting up with silly old me!
