    The kiteboarder should have been bigger...at the moment it is just a speck. T'would make a nice effect and addition to the scene. Just a thought...

    Thanks Izzie; I agree. It was so small I did not see it in my view finder at all. I only noticed it during post. I think it might have been a sea gull?

    Better Joe...I couldn't believe how a simple crop could make a difference. I must remember that...

    Thanks Izzie, I never know how much to crop. I tend to want to include everything which is "attractive" to my eye. In this case there was some nice reflection in the water in my original.

    To get some, needs sacrifice some others, but if only for small technicalities, I would have left what attracted me in the first place...but that is just me...

    on my screen your picture seems to be very "noisy" especially in the sky. As I have no idea about the camera-lens combination you used, I would propose less ISO and a tripod next time. And regarding framing I agree with Izzie: less is more.
    If you allow I suggest next time you compose a "sundowner" something like this:

    Another shot ; same sunset

    If you disapprove my editing, tell me. I will erase it.
