Rolleiflex SL35E
From my small camera collection. Body is as new. Lens is my favorite from the original SL35. I still use some of the Schneider, Rollei and Zeiss lenses on M4/3ds bodies with an adapter. Light box, two fluorescent bulbs:

Re: Rolleiflex SL35E
This brings me back a bit. I had a SL 35 which I traded in for the more compact and much improved SL 35 E. This was a wonderful camera if a little heavy with a 50mm Zeiss Planar 1.8 (if my memory serves me correctly). Sadly the shutter stopped working and, at the time, Rolleiflex had gone under and nobody could repair it. I dearly wish I had kept it as today repair might have been possible. Do you still use the camera?

Re: Rolleiflex SL35E
Neville, I haven't used it in a few years. Every time I start to take film out of the freezer and film cameras out of storage I procrastinate. Digital is just so darn easy and I can always use the old lenses on digital bodies.

Re: Rolleiflex SL35E
I try to shoot film a few times every year.
It's a wonderful experience because I have to slow down and think about every shot. There's just something "special" about manually focusing, advancing the film and cocking the shutter.
