Another nice shot of Jess, Travis, but...
I'm not sure if I love your B&W conversion in image 2. You seem to have lost shadow detail in a number of places in the image (0,0,0 values). This is really noticeable in some of the hair and on the camera left side of her mouth. There is a strange little shadow just below her lower lip too. I think you will have a stronger image if you back off on your black point a bit.
If it were my shot, I'd do a tighter crop all the way around, especially on the top right corner and would cut right into her hair.

Jess is a beautiful lady. However, I am not a fan of the selective colorization in image #1.

Hi Travis IMO Jess blends with the BG in #1. I like #2 and I agree with Manfred about the blacks.
