Lazy Cow & Eclipse - C & C Welcome
This was taken a couple of weeks ago - Dartmoor. Not too sure of the depth of field.
The partial eclipse in March. It was taken in a spur of the moment, using a little stopper & hand held. I had never take an image like this before so I really do not know if it was really successful or not!

You can't help photographing these animals and I don't have a particular problem with the DOF but the comp is a bit tight bottom and left for me. Personally, I would also prefer some eye contact but in this case, it wasn't going to happen. The eclipse does what it says. Nice capture.

+1 to John, but full size in Lytebox, that first shot is amazing.

Hi Andy . #1 is a very nice image for me too. Is it possible to fix the highlights on its back or are they blown out ? Even if they are blown out , I don't care, I like the image very much

I really like the cow... Personally, I wouldn't change a thing about the DOF. Love the textures you've captured there!

The Highland Cow shot is a portrait so normal portrait 'rules' apply; which means it looks fine.
I think you did as well as anybody else, including me, for the eclipse shot.
