Interesting shot Glenn. I'm not quite sure this works for me as if the subject is indeed the train, there are a lot of things in the foreground that distract from the subject. The pillar on the right and post on the left create a distraction and subdivide the image without helping us focus on the train itself.
In general, if the first thing the viewer notices in a scene is NOT the subject, then the composition is not as strong as it should be.
