Very nice feather details here, Barbara...and the pose...the lump at the bottom of the beak by the neck makes him look like he is sad. I also like the curve of the crown at the back of the head....very sexy.

Izzie, This is the bird that started it all for me almost one year ago! One landed on the roof of the house behind ours. That is very unusual as we don't live near the water. I thought he was so interesting looking and so I started to study them and try to find them. It opened a whole world of shore birds and now I am "A BIRD NERD"
