Hi Andy You have beautiful grandchildren . I'm not a portrait shooter but IMO all images are very nice. I think the softness in #1 and #4 comes from your PP work but I like it.
Thank you Binnur, I don't shoot portraits either but I thought I would start with these.
Very nice series, Andy, the black and white works well with these. My favorite is number three; I like the rather large black space. If this is your starting point for portraits you are off to a great start.
Thanks Dean, your comment is greatly appreciated.
Great shots. Thanks for sharing.
Well done, Andy! Cute kids, and nice black and white conversions. The only thing I would change would be using a dark (rather than light) vignette on #2, as I feel like it would draw the viewer's attention towards (rather than away from) your grandson's face. But that's just a personal opinion! If you hadn't admitted that you don't typically shoot portraits, you would've fooled me. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Kristy. I will look again at the vignette settings
Lots of personality coming through. Well done.
Very nice group however, number three is just super! I like everything about it, the off center crop and especially the placement of the glasses and her expression!
I'm not a big fan of hair hiding the eyes in a portrait but #3 does have an artistic feel to it that just works! Nice job and I agree, there seems to be quite allot of personality captured in your frames. I think you'll happily have your hands full for some time to come!
Nice job on the photos, great job on the grand children!
They are great images, taken with love & personality obviously shining through.
Terrific.
Ha ha, David thanks for your comment & yes, she is already a bit too clever!! Nice though....
