Lyveden
Lyveden New Bield is a property built in the late 1500's and early 1600's but not completed as the owner died. So it's an empty shell with a basement level that's accessible for interior shots. It's a National Trust site and worth a visit if you're in the Northamptonshire area.
Here's a close up of the property - more to follow as I process.

Re: Lyveden
Phil, I visited it a few years back (I'm a 'pensioner' member of the National Trust). Very nice angle for the capture, and I like the way the light cloud 'illuminates' the upper storey side casements in contrast to the others. It emphasises the symmetry of the structure nicely.
I also like the detail of the religious iconography on the freize, which you have brought out beautifully well.

I like this too. I think the manner in which you have shown the texture of the old stonework is another nice feature of this image.

Re: Lyveden
Thanks guys. It's a small NT place to visit but well worth it if you're passing through (or if, like me, you have 4 hours to kill during a last minute panic to get a new passport for your wife 2 days before travel from the local Peterborough office!)
