My taste tends to run to the dark and dramatic. So other than boosting the contrast a bit to suit my taste... I really like this shot!

Very nice, Jim...try to crop your frame a little bit to put the stem of the flower more at the corner...

Nice capture, the bit of green in the background complements the reds and diagonals help breakup the composition.
