You've captured something in her eyes that speaks out and in a good way. I like this style very much, it evokes a sense of empathy in me. Very well done.

She is beautiful & I love the connection with her, that you have created.
My only suggestion is the background, the way it seems to be 2 colours, with them joining right in the middle of her head.
It's for me a wee distraction from a really lovely image.

You are putting together a lovely series here. The deep blue here is gorgeous as was the deep green in your other post. Perhaps you could find some more with other deep colours to continue the project ?? I, for one, would enjoy viewing them.

Nicely done again Ashish, coming from you as I remember most of your shots shared with us here...there is always a story in each images and this one is no different, good story through her eyes and demeanor. I like the texture that you got of her face too. Do you ask these people permission to shoot or you just shoot and go away quickly...? Just curious...

Thank you for your thoughts Kay... You are right in your observation. She was sitting in front of the door frame which was painted blue and the other half is the interior of her house. Hence the two colours. I thought it best not to retouch it in PP.

I do ask them if i can click their pictures and they almost always oblige. Their grudge is that a lot of people click them but they do not send them their own pictures so we (our photography group) make sure we send them a copy. These are very low income villages where most of these folks cannot afford even basic cameras. They may not have a lot of material assets but they make do with what they have and lead a life of dignity and honesty with strong community ties.
