Masks of Venice
The haunting, elegant, exquisite, whimsical masks of Venice have totally captured my heart. How to do their beauty justice in a photograph and to even begin to convey their mystery and charm?
I extend appreciation in advance for your thoughts and suggestions on these attempts. Many thanks, Diane

Re: Masks of Venice
Nicely captured, I was expecting some live models but your presentation on the second image makes up for the lack of a warm body.

Interesting... #2 is very Tutankamun! Tones are beautiful.

Re: Masks of Venice
How beautiful indeed!
My son (the Internationak nerd, as I lovingly call him) spent his australian summer university holiday in Europe studying a positive psychology course at Maastricht university.
He loved his time there & had a quick trip around some of Europe at the end befor coming home.
He bought me a miniature magnet of a Venetian mask & seeing them here 'for real' brings their beauty into more detail for me.
So Thankyou so much for sharing, I like the framing on both of them, but the colour tones on the second image are quite lovely.
