Homage to O'Keefe and Shapiro (Georgia and Irving)

    Sony a700 + Industar 50-2

The plan over a short series is tae produce a watercolour look initially, then, hopefully, a gradual shift tae van Gogh and other Impressionist and Post Impressionist styles.

Shapiro and O'Keefe both have great pastel, almost transparent, blues in much of their work. The Industar family of lenses can produce subtle blues in the correct circumstances. The last week, where ah live, has had a particular, almost white sun which we get regularly at this time of year, so it was time tae get under the tree canopy for this shot.

There's not much PP here-most of the settings are in-camera...

    f3.5 @ 1/50th.
    ISO 200
    D-R+(LEVEL 3)
    AWB
Adobe RGB (so colours may appear different as my monitor is set on aRGB as well)
    +2.3 EV
    Colour temp 6000k

    CC, of course, welcome...

Nicely captured, a hidden eye in the background. I like how the subject separates from the background.

Very impressive (or should I say impressionistic)?
