    Gone Fishing

Taken in the early morning on Lake Ontario, in partly overcast sky and with a mist rising from the water somewhat masking the horizon. Shot was taken looking north, with the sun trying to penetrate the cloud cover.
    ISO 100, 24mm, f 8, 1/160".

    C&C appreciated.

Very nice calm scene...I wonder if the guy in the boat has his six pack while waiting for the fish to bite? It will be nice if you clone out that distracting branch right in the middle, well...almost...

I agree with Izzie, but I am in two minds about the branch. It does provide a frame for the boat. However, the image would not be spoiled if you removed it.

Thanks Izzie. I thought about it and in the end left it, as it is a part of the large tree trunk at the bottom of the pic. So I'm 50 50 on that.

Thanks John. As it is a visual distraction perhaps I should remove it? I have removed the branch and show it with a B&W version

Thanks Binnur. Here is the B&W with the 'offending' branch removed.
