Dream at Sutton Manor

Dream at Sutton Manor (note the absence of any article) is a 20m (66-foot) statue at the old Sutton Manor Colliery site at St Helens. It lies just north of the main road between Manchester and Liverpool from where it is clearly visible.


My wife (who is 5' 2"), at the base of the statue, is dwarfed. I particularly like the lighting in this image, with a lowering background, and low illumination from the south (right in the picture).

I was prompted to post this image having seen Shadowman's form here.

Thanks Binnur. I deliberately left the trees in. I think that they give a context for the statue. The parkland surrounding it was semi-wooded.
