Found this guy and he was so chill. Let me get very close and take all kinds of shots of him. Normally this bird is very reluctant to let you get close at all so I took advantage.

Wow Barbara - I just dream of seeing one of these guys! To get this close must have been amazing. Lucky you. I like shots #1 and #3 the best but they are all fantastic.

Thanks Stu, It was amazing. I was so stunned that he didn't fly off I stood for a second then moved closer. I went to the same location this morning and he was not there the first pass I made, but on the second he had returned to where he had been the last time. He still was not bothered by me and allowed me to get very close.
