Interesting...just for curiousity, are you a pilot?
Nice work. After Effects with masks?
Photoshop, Premier and After Effects. I had to discover some radical processes not found in any books. I had the idea for years, but couldn't come up with a process. I talked to a young genius from France who represented Soft Image and he suggested rotoscoping, but that was not accurate enough and gave a very jerky (like an old movie) playback. Cut and paste x-y axis inaccuracy.
I was sitting in my garden under my apple tree (really) and had a eureka moment. I used layers and P in P between the layers. Used Photoshop and green screen to remove the top layer lens in the sun glasses, reduced opacity in the video to replicate a reflection. But it would not play, so I had to do a bit of algebraic what if....etc. until I solved the riddle of why it would not play. I simply had to change a graphic file..BMP into a movie file AVI for the background, who says a movie AVI file has to move? Then it played. Eureka! You were right on with the masks Manfred.
My pilots in this house never retires...they go to our hangar almost everyday...and I am glad to be alone doing my own things here in the house ... when they are here they talk airplanes, eat airplanes, breath airplanes...you know...the works...I am nauseated at times so I just retire to my den to keep the peace...![]()
Izzie ... I count my flying experience in seconds rather than hours but as I see the adverts from Hobby King I am surely tempted to return as there are so many interesting and exciting types of plane [flying machines] available, with a much wider range than I guess one finds at the local hanger ... just saying .... though I wonder if I am a bit old to learn a new trick but not you for sure![]()
If the airplane is not going anywhere I have no intention of riding in it. I rather like the A380...it bring me further down the road and across the pond further from where you are. Latest conversation with me about his plane two days ago was ... OK we are going to Kentucky. I said "how far is it?" One hour on our Swift. So I said, :"OK, I will bite, you fly the plane I will drive the two hours to reach it, with pit stops...make sure you check the bed sheets on the hotel..." end of conversation.![]()
Go for it, John...I have seen much older people than me who is just starting to learn how to fly a plane. If you are at an age where your children had left home, you worry less about learning. You just do...and in the process buy yourself a high end sports car too, who cares?...and only drive for fun at weekends...It is a pattern. My latest learning is how to operate a chopsticks,honest...it is interesting. It develops my senses on respecting food.
