    MONOCHROME Mini Competition #19

Since the aim of these is to get you taking and submitting photos, let see if it can also encourage people to post monochrome (black and white) images, even if that's not in their normal photography 'diet'.

    Here's how it works ...

    - You good folks post MONOCHROME images in the thread (please change your post title to a name for your picture)

    - When we get 10 images we will attach a voting poll

    - After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared!

    - If you would especially like some critique after the competition poll closes, please make it known in the post

    Too easy eh?

Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person.

If there are already 10 in the current comp, please start a new thread in this forum

I love this one Rob. Even if you did "burn" away the edges, I love it. Great job.

Thanks, Pete. I have just noticed that the edges of the bench are cropped off, but if you click on the image it shows it properly with a gap around the edges.

Well done Wendy. Fairly galloped away with that one. Just shows you that working on a particular location can produce the results!

What we need to know is, do this two meet the Three Amigos coming the other way?

Thanks Donald: I do love that section of road, but still not happy with the technical results (I think there is some kind of interference in that area, I can never get anything to focus when I go out that way ). I even had the tripod this time. The Three Amigos are actually going in the same direction. I'm the one facing the other way.

Thanks to everyone for the votes. It's my first win. EVER

Thanks Rob, so now that I know we have such a sentimental bunch here, I will have to try and change my style. (I still like flowers better though) and beautifully executed shots of lonely chrome benches reflecting the sky, and hydro pylons and swans and ducks and squirrels and... well you know what I mean.
