Skeletal Barn
I shot this because the pattern of the sky and rafters appealed to me, as well as the faded paint and wood. Then another photographer pointed out the sky and rafter pattern is one of those optical illusions you can flip back and forth. Now I take full credit for planning it that way.

Re: Skeletal Barn
It has a similar feel to the burst shot of Otavio the other day -- dizzy-ing effect -- though in a different way here. It is more like I need glasses. Nicely done...

Re: Skeletal Barn
Very different from your typical style but very, very good! There are lots of compositions that would work, so I hope you revisit the scene using various focal lengths.

Re: Skeletal Barn
Great image; detail, shadow, lighting. Kind of an M.C. Escher thing going on in the lower right hand corner.

Re: Skeletal Barn
Oh that bottom right hand side confused me at first. Then I realised what I was seeing the missing horizontal board below the window added to my confused state. I shall recover given time
I agree with Mike that this is a structure to return to again and again, well done Trevor

Re: Skeletal Barn
Very nice Trevor, it has an abstract feel to it.
I had to look twice because it was playing tricks on my eyes I love these types of shots.
EDIT:
I've just seen the colour version in one of the mini-competitions and I have to say the black and white works much better.

Well seen and nicely captured.
I love the play of light.
