Helpful Posts: An oriental garden lizard sunning itself on honeysuckle. Remnants of recently shed skin cling to its eye. I love these lizards - they can sometimes be easy to approach. I find bringing the the camera to my eye and stalking slowly provides enough camouflage to get close - whereas a bare face makes them wary. The local cats eat a fair few and the roads are no friend to them either.
While feeling anti-Canon and still recovering from the worst bronchial infection in my life, I took the 5D3 and 100 f2.8L out for a therapeutic walk in the sunshine today.

I agree. The depth of field must have been pretty narrow. The eye and body are well in focus, but the skin on the nose and the spines on the neck are not. What was the aperture? Well captured!
