An oriental garden lizard sunning itself on honeysuckle. Remnants of recently shed skin cling to its eye. I love these lizards - they can sometimes be easy to approach. I find bringing the the camera to my eye and stalking slowly provides enough camouflage to get close - whereas a bare face makes them wary. The local cats eat a fair few and the roads are no friend to them either.
