    Re: Your Camera please....

Hi....at the time being I have four cameras in use,and one more unused, which may change anytime, as I am a compulsive buyer of cameras ha-ha....

    The four cameras are :

    Fuji X-T1,
    18-55 mm
    35mm
    55-200mm
    60mm macro
At the moment my main camera for nearly everything....

    Fuji X100
I own this camera for some time now, still love it, and although over time I have sold several cameras, this one I will never sell,
still use it for street photography, and have it set to B/W ....

    Leica D- Lux 6
I use this little one, when I cannot bothered with any weigh
    and then also for everything.....

    Fuji XF1
This camera I bought in red,
lives permanently in my handbag for * always with me * camera, and so is used for anything, when needed....

    Panasonic LX3
Another one I will never sell, although not used anymore.......

Re my Fuji X-T1.....I had the Olympus E-M5 in use, and went some months ago to my favorite camera store, to buy another battery for it, came to talk with the sales person, who showed me the Fuji X-T1, while holding it, I did fall in love with it, did not buy the battery.....but the Fuji X-T1 instead.....as already said * am an impulsive buyer *.......
In the meantime I sold all my Olympus gear, as knowing myself, it would only laying around unused, as I like the X-T1 very much.....

    Re: Your Camera please....

I have a future addition to my DSLR setup coming soon. I purchased a Canon SX50 HS bridge camera to have a small carry anywhere camera. At the Canon refurbished price of $178 USD, $199 including shipping and California State Tax I just could not resist it... I also bought a filter adapter and a lens hood ($about $7 USD - with shipping and handling). I have bid on a couple of extra batteries and a battery charger....

I additionally purchased a underwater Fuji XP-60 for my fishing trips. I caught some nice fish on my last trip to Mexico and was dependent on other folks for pictures because I didn't want to take my DSLR kit on a boat. That was a good idea because we got totally soaked when a weather front moved through while we were about 20 miles from our base.

99 % of my pictures are wildlife, landscape or a combination of both.
For landscapes: Sony A900 with 16-35mm/2.8 and 70-200mm/2.8
For wildlife: Sony A77 with Minolta 300mm/2.8 and Tamron 150-600mm/5-6.3
However, my motto is: Don't show me your gear, show me your pictures

    Re: Your Camera please....

Pentax K5, 18-55mm kit lens, 55-300mm Pentax lens.

In addition I have a 35mm Pentax KX, a Ricoh 35mm camera with the Pentax K mount, a 55mm manual Pentax lens and a 70-200mm Sigma lens with the K mount. All of these are about 40 years old. The Sigma lens needed a repair but after 40 years I can't complain.

I bought the K5 because of a certain amount of brand loyalty. The 35mm Pentax (and the lenses) served me well for a lot of years, so I tended towards Pentax when I was looking for DSLR, though I did look at other makes too. However, the K5 feels solid and comfortable in the hand, with the kit lens it is weather sealed, there are lots of old K mount lenses that fit and it has in camera stabilisation.

RATS! I'm not the first to write, "Pentax".

Pentax K-30... two of them with assorted Sigma and Pentax lenses.
    Panasonic FZ200 (just for fun)
    Panasonic DMC-TS3 for beach/snorkeling etc.

    Re: Your Camera please....

I was Pentax film shooter, then Pentax DSLR then youngest daughter decided to do Natural History photography degree at Falmouth Uni, they have a camera library for lenses etc and did not support Pentax only Nikon and Canon, I always hankered after a Nikon when I was film shooting as that was the camera of choice for photojournalists, well those in the mags I read anyway, so got her a Nikon, then worked out I could not affort to run two systems so got myself a Nikon as wellso we could share lenses so now
Eldest daughter has the Pentax K3 now and the tokina 90mm macro from 25 yrs ago to play with

    My toys
    Nikon
    D5200
    D7100
    Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro
    Nikon 50mm f1.8g
    Tamron 70-300

Sigma macro permanently on the D7100, D5200 shares the time between the other lenses

    Re: Your Camera please....

Though I might as well chip in.

Pretty wedded to m4/3 now, so:

    Gx7 and G5 bodies.
    (Lumix) 12-35, 14-42II, 14-140II, 100-300

Suspect I will be adding the G7, since I really do prefer the G ergonomics to the Gx.

OTOH I have just spent a day wandering round with the gx7 and the 14-140: sheer bliss.

I also have a 600D, plus three lenses, flash and various bits and pieces. Soon to be remaindered, I think.

    Re: Your Camera please....

Up until now, I have shot with my Nikon D90 and either a Tamron 90mm macro or the Sigma 400mm 5.6 Telephoto. Recently I pulled the trigger on a Nikon D750 ( oh, the bliss) and a Nikon 70-200 f/4 vr. I also a Tamron 17-50 2.8 that I still am trying to become friends with.

Looks like a serious bit of kit.
