    Celestial Light - C&C Welcome

Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

I have tried to capture the light falling off the cloud patches, I have deliberately made it high contrast in the post processing and havnt denoised it to give a nostalgic feel to it.

Please provide your views and suggestion with composition, frame, crops and processing.

    Thank You

PS : Please click on the image for lightbox screen view (Highly recommended)

Nicely done, I often try to capture such a vision.

Raj - I prefer the 5:4 crop. It somehow seems a bit more edgy and dynamic. I find square crops tend to be fairly neutral.

Raj: I think you need a bit more cloud on the upper portion to give the beams a source and block the upper edge. The bright area of cloud pulls the viewer up and out of the image. Plus you need to balance off the black hills on the bottom.

Have any of you tried slowly scrolling up and down this images? They both have the same effect like a mind's play...I should say it is a beautiful effect...coming at me sort of feeling...

Sorry Raj...I can't help going back to the image again and again and play with it...it boggles my mind somwhat...

Hi Raj I prefer #1 because IMO you lost the feeling of vastness in #2 by cropping it.
