    Steve, I like the full view the best as it gives a good feel for the surroundings that the creek is in. With the beautiful scenery that I see in the image I am wondering why you chose B&W over colour?

    I prefer #1 too, very nice image I'm glad that you converted the image to B&W as I'm getting addicted to B&W photography

    I was going for an Ansel Adams homage (yeah, sure, uh huh, righteeoh). Here they are in color.

    Steve, one time I found, through google, a tutorial on how to get the Ansel Adams effect. Sorry I don't remember the link Seeing the colour version I think I favour that one but I do like the conversion that you did on it as well.

    Steve, for me it's your B&W. I don't need the colors to appreciate the view! I'm not sure, maybe pull the mid-tones down a bit, a bit more contrasty? You're close to what you were after and I think you've gotten a really good image. Printable and hangable.
