A nice combination of two springtime flowers. Without the Herb Robert flower, you would have had the Bluebell emerging from the Herb Robert foliage! The two flower colours go nicely against the green background. You have the lowers themselves nice and sharp, as well as some of the leaves. How did you actually take this? Did you get down to ground level?

The lovely soft colours compliment one another along with great composition. I like that image.

Two flowers which are surprising difficult to photograph.

I've got a Herb Robert for one of my weekly flower photos and it has taken me several shoots with dozens of shots before I got one keeper!

Didn't have to stoop too much, John. I'm putting a new walk-about lens through its paces (Tamron 28-300 PZD) and trying it on everything in sight. It focuses to roughly 18" at 300mm which is handy for unexpected small things that need to be captured without using a dedicated Macro lens. I noticed the single 'Robert' and main cluster of Bluebells were in the same focal plane from my convenient perspective. So, a bit lucky I suppose. I am really surprised at the sharpness of this lens throughout its zoom range and also close up.
    Thank you for your comments.
