    Four Falls - Waterfall One

    I finally decided on an image from the waterfall I visited yesterday, and am relatively happy with the PP. There are 3 more waterfalls in the area which I plan to visit as soon as my blisters have healed

    Anyway, here is the first one. C&C Welcome.

    Thanks for viewing.

    Hello Matt
    I like the combinations of colours in the picture very much: light green to red-gold.
    I personally am not so convinced about the framing. For me a tighter "crop" would enhance the drama of the waterfall - from top: eliminate the patches of blue sky; from left: eliminate around a fifth of the bushes.
    I also would try, if possible, a lower camera position: the waterfall falling into the eye of the beholder, not watched from above;
    and last: the water is too soft - one step less (shutter speed) would IMHO done it.

    I agree. I said something similar about your previous waterfall post.

    I think that, knowing many of these Welsh waterfalls, that Matt would definitely have got his wellies well and truly wet if he had tried that. I hope to have a go at the Aber falls in September, where you can definitely stand at the bottom looking up!

    I also agree about the softness.

    Thanks for the C&C Erwin, at the time it was impossible to get any lower as there is a 30ft cliff about 5inches from where I took the shot. I have now found a route to cross the river further up and I can climb down the lower side... so next time
