Something Different
Played around with something this afternoon, I took an image I shot in Death Valley of the sky, and them imposed over it a shot I took at the provincial park down at the lake in Brighton, Ontario. That shot was a B&W and then I blended it into a colour shot of a night sky. I call it "Passage to the Sky". Let me know what you think, it was rather fun doing.

Re: Something Different
Nice one Allan - photocomposites can be a lot of fun (but can be rather time consuming).

Re: Something Different
A thanks to everyone who posted a comment, I did not expect such positive responses. I was just something I did up down and dirty and posted to get a feel what people might think. As a result of your comments I redid the image, cleaned it up somewhat, now the stone walkway edges are sharp the sky does not blend into them, at the far distance there is a small amount of fade in of the sky into the walkway. Printed it out at 12x18 on a luster stock and it looks just great. You can never tell what will get a response and again thanks to all that posted such positive feedback.
Cheers: Allan

Re: Something Different
Very creative image Allan Have you tried toning the B&W part to suit the sky?
