Simplely crop the subject , place more emphasis on the actual detals of the suject and play around withg the PP to increase the tonal contrast . Too much out of focus space , this is only my opinion , but a nice capture , so make it better

The first thing that I noticed is the bench. I like the bench. I like the funny look of this critter...s/he looks old too, pretty much like the bench...or maybe I am focusing too much on the bench...but I like this image...Nicely caught, Jim...

Like Raymond, I was wondering about a crop; but I wouldn't want to go too tight.
Possibly try 4 x 5 ratio and lose a bit from the left?
