    Nature's Spot Light - C&C Welcome

Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

In this image i tried to capture the light on the mountain and the house. I was just trying my hands with some manipulation in terms of blur ie Tilt Shift blur in Photoshop because i felt this image was asking for it.

Please provide your views and suggestion with composition, frame, crops and processing.

    Thank You

Nice illumination, looks like a miniature village.

    I would agree.

There is something 'other world' about this shot, but it nicely captured the light on the houses.

What else, nothing really although I am left feeling that I might have been tempted to make the focal point different and actually move around the valley a little, but thats just personal preference.

Reminds me of the effect achieved in camera that Ilko Alexandroff gets using an old Helios lens to blur the background on his portrait shoots.

Thanks a lot for your valuable review and suggestion. Around the valley i.e partial light in focus and partial shadow area?

Raj very interesting image you captured like it very much in the style that you presented it. I like how the light comes down what looks like the slope where the two hills meet, on the upper left hand side. To my thinking that one small bunch of trees on the upper left I think needs to be darken some as they want to draw my eyes away from the main subject. That is darken them some but do not take away the path that, that light takes to the valley. Again very nice shot.

For me, Raj, the problem is with that large out of focus area in the bottom left corner.

Not an easy answer though. Maybe, I would try a crop from the left side and top. Remove around a quarter of the scene in each direction? That won't completely remove the area but it will become less noticeable.

Very nice scenery, Raj...Perhaps you can mask the green part at the lower right side and invert selection so you can blur that bush in that corner? That is is just my opinion. I am not an expert yet...

Ian...Fred Miranda also uses this Russian lens. Good link.

Very interesting Raj, I've had a play around with the tilt shift blur in PS.

    It works really well here!

Hi Raj Very nice image, I like the crop. I will try the tilt sift blur in one of my images to see how it works, the effect looks nice and interesting.
