I like the different treatments you did here. I hope I do not have to choose because the second one has more artistic flare than the first. The first is certainly well exposed. What I can criticise is the woman itself -- it seems like she has been lifting iron too, judging from the bulge of her body, legs and arms...this is a beautiful shot too but different mood than the first. Excellent job.

    Hi Izzie,

Thanks for commenting. Similar lighting for both images, I thought the less energetic second image could use a bit of contrast and also wanted to experiment with black and white printing. I'm hoping there won't be any issues.

    In the Action

The photographer, always one of my favorite subjects.

Using the From the Hip Technique. I just lowered the camera to knee level and hoped for the best.

This last one I think should be cut a little bit from the bottom maybe up to just the blue green yellow strap shoes of the right runner so the main subject's leg will show only the right leg....but then there is that extra foot on the right...I don't know...I only that a person's leg should be cut at the ankle in a photograph...

    Izzie,

I know what you mean about the body crop, however this image to me falls under candid photography rules (no rules). But do I hate those captures of mine where the subject isn't completely shown.

I like both...but I find the second one better...the feet cut-off doesn't detract from the environ that they are and your subject is more closer at the zoom...and she doesn't look starving either. I dislike very thin women who look starving. This one looks healthy. Lovely shot...

All are good, but I really like the "photographer" shot.
