Kim, I think that this is a very nice capture.

Not your typical portrait and for that it works.
Very nice portrait showing a wonderful smile on the little sheepgirl (err. cowgirl). I would consider a slight crop on image left to get rid of the end of the barn/fence and a slight crop at the top.
Nice portrait, Kim. I agree with Richard about the gap on the left but I would clone a bit of the barn into the space rather than cropping the shot.
Very nice Kim.
I love the pose...good job.
+1 to Greg's comment, very nice young lady and lovely sheep
Nicely captured Kim I agree with other about the space on the left. I think that little lady is proud of her boots
I think the colour and tone in this are great. The whole thing is very balanced and harmonious to look at. There are no jarring elements. It is what I would call, a lovely, gently image, which is perfect for the subject matter.
If you do go with the suggestions made about cropping a bit on the left, what about also a crop at the bottom? Do we need to see as much space as we do below the girl's feet?
Wonderful shot and subject, Kim.
As others have said, this is a lovely subject and well photographed. Perhaps it could be cropped differently but that is not important to my eye.
I think the word "cowgirl" should be changed to "shepherdess" though.
