You're going to have people wanting portraits done if you keep this up. Nicely done.

That's cool, Chauncey. They remind me of a foetus - or aliens.

While this is nicely done, I personally prefer some of your earlier work that was more whimsical and left more to the viewer's imagination.

But the earlier ones were more complex and required a multitude of different images whereas,
the recent ones are manipulations of one image...all in the mantra of KISS. Can you explain?

Less manipulation = KISS. Manipulating more is not simplification; I'm referring to your very earliest work.

While I agree with Manfred, this one is still good. I could certainly see it gaining a place on a wall.

I'm not at all sure the direction that Manfred is referring to but...this is different...better/not?

I prefer the first, a bit more human looking.

    Hi Chauncey,

I adore both of these... I also loved your pink rose in the monthly comp (adored the pink on pink)... All that said I think my favourites to date are the whimsical images, especially in the style of the first one. All that said, all wall hangers.

I definitely prefer the second version; but then I tend to prefer the abstract side of things.

    Re: 2 of 9

If I had to choose I would go for the second version Chaunce. The first one has a lot of processing issues that I doubt would translate well to print (I assume from your previous postings in various places that you are looking at printing these).

My main (but not only) question is why you chose to plant these right in the dead center of so much background?

I would think a different composition would add a lot.

Tis amazing that the one that I like the most is the pink orchids...Pink Orchids in smoke
But most of you'll prefer my early groping stuff like this...Pheonix Rising

Ah well, am currently working on a rose...we'll see how it goes.

    Hi Chauncey,

This one is my favourite to date (that I can recall and find)... For some reason I think there is another image similar to this one.
    for someone special

Other favourites are the Pink Orchids, Madam Butterfly, and does this match your walls (another favourite of mine)

Christina, you are entirely too kind...am somewhat embarrassed by your kudos.
