    I feel old

My youngest has just finished high school and has a promising career ahead of him making prosthetic limbs at a local company. The world is at your feet...go get it!!

I don't enjoy shooting people, they are way too difficult and my brain doesn't handle difficult very well, but I had to make an exception for this one.
    C&C always welcomed.

"OLD" Heck, my oldest is a grandfather!

Anyway, very nice images of a handsome young lad!

    Good looking pooch also!

Nit picking about the images... I'd enjoy a slight crop image left of #4 to do away with the tree or pole and image left of #5 to do away with the smidgen of sky image left of the tree...

I agree with Richard - and my youngest daughter is a grandma - twice.
    Now, who's old?
My favourite of the set BTW is #3 - coming from someone who only rarely takes people pictures, and mostly at famly events.

Have to agree - any chance he takes after his mom? If he sits around on tracks too long he may need to make some limbs for himself.

    Nice set of images.

I read a list of "themes not to do-as they have become clichés" and the railway image would be at the top of the list. However, I like the capture, I'm just a big fan of perspective/leading lines. My one suggestion for this particular image would be to switch places with your subject, point your camera in the opposite direction as the sky would be more prominent. You did a good job of adding fill light to your son's face. Nice series.

#4's pole has to go ...
I like the B/W too but his legs looks a bit short...
My favourite is the one with the cute doggie...
    More shots of the doggie....
P.S. I bet this cutie son of yours is taller than you...

Nice set... I especially adore the 1-3 with the 2nd image being my favourite. Coming from someone who rarely photographs people.

For an "old" person who doesn't like shooting people, your people photos are very good. A very good set of senior photos.

Jon...based solely on your avatar, you should be pleased that he takes after his mother.

Wish him well, from all of us, on what will be a rewarding career. Congratulations to all.

    Re: I feel old

I wonder if #1 is just a fraction tight at the bottom? And if I am looking critically at that image, possibly have your subject further to the right but looking slightly to the left; so as to show more rails disappearing into the distance, similar to the set up in #2?

Would a crop to 4 x 5 ratio, or square, and lose a bit from the right side achieve a similar result?
