That's a simple composition Manfred and it works - full of diagonals and good use compositionally, of colour. I'm tempted to say a strategically seated figure would improve it but actually, it doesn't need it. I t would just produce an interesting alternative. Well seen.
How marvelously strange. I like it.
I like it too...I wouldn't have taken such a simple shot and turn it into an art...I guess I lack imagination...
Thanks John.
I had the same thought when I was shooting, unfortunately, that section of the stadium was closed so there was no way for me to get a person into one of the seats.
Of course repeating patterns is an important compositional tool, and I had oodles of that. Add a medium long telephoto lens to flatten the scene any one gets sometime a bit bizarre. Unfortunately, we were there at just after 1:00 in the afternoon, so the lighting in any of the places I might have been able to shoot someone was terrible, so I was stuck with this area.
I missed this.
That is a wonderful use of line, shape and colour. I find it mesmerising.
Cool shot Manfred, I'd just crop a bit off the bottom. The little grey corner distracts me a bit.
Like this Manfred, but i do think you should have removed all the stickers from the seats prior to shooting
One that even Donald wouldnt want in B&W
