Maybe because the Falls is famous and they want everyone who did not manage to go to their wedding knows where they got married...Nice capture....were you the photographer at their wedding?
Hi Izzie,
Thanks for the comments. No, I wasn't the photographer, I just happened to be in the area when they posed. I'm not saying the Falls is a bad spot for photography, well in a way I am; but it's more about time of day that is the issue. Granted you can use fill flash to handle all of the shadows.
I like this John - it really captures a playful moment.
Interesting shot, John.
Just thinking about the many times I've been to the Falls. When I was growing up, one of my aunt's lived in Niagara Falls, NY, so we would be there several times a year. Every time we got overseas visitor's there would be a trip there as well.
In all that time I can't recall ever seeing a wedding party there, even though the area has such a long history associated with weddings.
John,
A very nice "slice of life" capture.
I like this image very much too, it is sort of something different regarding the pose of the couple, and you catches the moment so well....
Griddi.......
Me too...I like this one too...I wonder if she is thinking you are one of her wedding photographers....
Adorable shots clicked. The photo shoot is one of memorable moments at the time of the wedding. It remembered me, my wedding shot which was arranged at the venue Boca Raton, under the grand banyan Trees and a cascading fountain.
I very much like the second one John. You seem to have captured shear joy.
I especially like #1 but #2 is also a nice natural looking image John
