Yes, these are at it. They look like a pair of Crane Flies (Tipulidae) also known as Daddy-long-legs. They,as I recall, feed on nectar and honedew rather than munch away at your weeds!

I thought daddy-long-legs were spiders with a small round body and 8 extremely long legs.
