Agree first one is better. Can you bring up the shadows? May be me but seems a little dark. Captures are nice and sharp.

Really nice shots..I like both compositions ....love the color on the bird...I've been watching swallows out my window all spring nesting....will have to set up my camera....but I really like the birdhouse you have there !

They are both very nice Irene , lovely colors and a beautiful bird
As far as I can see the images look a bit noisy, may be you can fix it with some more PP
