We went to get some plants another tour

Today we drove 75 miles to a plant nursery to get a specific plant, had lunch there as well. It was a glorious if very windy morning when we drove over to the nursery. Sadly after lunch the weather changed still windy but combined with heavy rain. My planned scenic route home with photo stops didn't allow me the scenes I wanted. But I did manage to get a few images (between showers) from one of my favourite shooting spots.

Sadly it seems I have created over processed images between here and Flickr

I'm going for a lay down in a darkened room!

Sorry Izzie I missed your post (my bad) thank you for taking time to look and comment. The colour you see in image 1 is absolutely as it was. The waterfall "Wainwath Falls" do colour up like this due to the peat content which is washed down of the surrounding moorland (peat and heather etc). The falls in lower water levels do not stretch across the width seen in that image. The little falls in the other images are on a small tributary which flows under the road (you may able to see the culvert in one of the images) and enters the river below and to the left of the main falls. Unfortunately on the day I didn't have my wellies (gumboots) which would have allowed me to get a better composition.
We did get the plant we wanted a Geum called EOS ( like the Greek god), plus another called Cosmopolitan plus a Rose called Blush Noisette.

I like the compositions Peter All images look a bit oversharpened to me, but they can be fixed easily anyway.
