Croatia & Slovenia

Just returned from Europe traveling through Slovenia and Croatia on vacation. This consisted of driving 2500 kilometers round trip from Venice and visiting many small towns and top destination cities in 14 days. Turned out to be quit the challenge to take respectable photos while at the same time trying to see as much as one can in a short period of time. Just starting to sift through hundreds of images and thought I would post a few. Comments are always welcome form C in C members.

Lovely images of an absolutely beautiful area. It saddens me that this area has seen so much ethnic violence throughout the years. As a kid, one of my best adult friends (my uncle's lady friend) was from Slovenia...

All very nice series although on this first batch I like the Robinj, Croatia image. It could do with a little bit more cropping at the top to the start of the curve of the mountain on the left though.

Porec. Is there a little too much 'bland' water in the foreground? Would a crop to something like 3 x 2 ratio have more impact?

Omis. The yellow boat is fractionally close to the edge; although you probably didn't have any other options.

The others look fine to me.

My first thought was what a lovely capture, minimalist but so captivating. No crop is needed here.
