    Grrrrrrrrrr!

Why is it the Canon US site has the user manual for the 5DS and 5DSR up there and ready for downloading, but the Canon Europe website does not? Really annoying.

    Just a moan.

    That's a riddle isn't it?
    A. Because Canon Japan hasn't translated the American Version into European yet.

    It does:

    http://www.canon-europe.com/support/...als#disclaimer

But what difference does it make? Are the specs different if the camera is purchased in Europe?

    Lefthand drive righthand drive?

I happily download manuals for all sorts of things and generally so long it is in English it usually makes little difference.

Why does Canon have a website (or collection of websites) that are so difficult to navigate soemtimes that you can never find what you're looking for?

    Thanks, Dan.

That's not a riddle that's an easy question.

    A. Because it is an huge company with lots of smaller fiefdoms.

Crikey, surely you don't expect Canon to be as neat, organized and as logical as one Man's Camera Bag or Whisky Cabinet?

Sorry.... I'm now confused... Whiskey cabinet? Organisation with whisky is....... a) Whiskey in the bottle, b) Whiskey in the glass, c) Whiskey in me! Sorted!.... now where's that manual Donald was on about....

Somewhat less civilised, but more organised.... cut out the washing up and forget the glass!

Just make sure your search contains more than 3 words, no numerals or other non-acceptable characters and you're fine.
