Why in the world do most dogs posed like that? She is beautiful, Kim...ask her to have fun, throw a ball or something so you can have action shots...it will be interesting...

She seldom sleeps like this Izzie. She is usually either playing or passed out. I haven't posted action shots as they all have her leash and my cloning skills still stink. Here's one for you anyways - taken at the beach, mid-day.

Thank you....if you do not mind, here is my edit without the leash...what I did was use the lasso tool to select the leash first, then press F5 to bring out the Content Aware window, then press OK and leash disappeared. (I just noticed that your software is not Photoshop, sorry. I am using Photoshop CS6 and I am still learning it as I only have it for a few days, not even a week.) Anyway, I then selected the shadow at the top and did another content aware and followed the same procedure. I also cropped the bottom part of the shot a little bit to make it balanced. If you did not like it, I will delete it from this message.

Err...uhrmmm...don't ask me to repeat the process if you think there is still something wonky because I have deleted this file off my pooter...

Nice cloning job Izzie. I do have PS on my computer so I may have to give it a try, as I like the result. :-)

Raven is turning out to be a beautiful dog. Nice shot in that you got her eyes! It is often rough to catch the deep set eyes of a dog that has bangs over the eyes.

    Nice job, Kim.

Raven is a beautiful, well balanced puppy and will be a gorgeous dog. Will she be pet or show?

Izzie, you did a nice job editing the leash and the shadow.

Regarding the OP, nice job, Kim. Clean BG/surroundings, eyes and nose both in focus, great detail. Well done.
