    Mirror reflection - C & C are welcome

During the month of Dec 2014, I had visited a woolens market. Over there I have tried to capture some mirror reflections, which I am posting here.

Kindly share your C & C on these.

    Regards,

    Tejal

The general background area is a bit on the soft side with #1, Tejal, which I find slightly distracting. Possibly more blurred would be better? And maybe a bigger mirror under those conditions?

The other two work fine for me.

I have problems with the slightly out of focus subject image left of #1. I might think of just cropping him out and trying for the mirror as the subject surrounded by the merchandise. The reflection in the mirror is an image in itself...

    Mirror reflection - C & C are welcome

I love the other two just as they are... There is a very subtle interaction between the boy's eyes and the man in image #2.

Is that your wife in #3?

But Richard, I like the guy there in #1 because he seems to be part of the environment too, I feel that his expression there is like looking at the mirror's image too. Cropping it off makes a better shot I can admit that but the essence was cropped off too in the process.

Tejal...I like the first two images the way they are. In #2, I feel like the man in the mirror is looking after the little boy. I do not like #3 much because I think when I was more camera ignorant I tried to do that many time in my powder room...didn't get too far...

Interesting concept...we have all heard the advice when working a shoot, "turn around, you
might be missing a better shot". You're capturing that as well.

Thanks for your feedback. I think for #1, I should have tried to catch everything in focus. Here it seems, in my attempt to just focus the mirror part, i failed to get a better shot. Mirrors, well, they have kept for the customers and it was an open area.

thanks for your feedback. I think i should have taken everything in focus by keeping F/8 to 9. But your crop is also working quite well.
