Doesn't seem to me that you need any pointers on panning, although I wouldn't be the person to give them if you did - not an area in which I'm experienced.

I second Donald's view Bootsy,
You've done well with these, so I'd say shutter speed, and probably technique too, is fine.
There are no obvious problems to suggest any specific advice is necessary - was ther something about them that disappointed you?
Cheers,

Re: rally day at chatsworth house
i'm very happy with them.i took about 60 photos that day.most being me getting my hand in and finding a good spot between trees and banners.i shot most using tv with a Shutter Speed between 1/20-1/60.i've some other good shots but their not that sharp as i wasn't sure where to focus on.i decided the front grill/head lights but i try other areas.would i be better off trying manual settings instead of tv with the lens wide open?

Re: rally day at chatsworth house
The front, or front wheel, are probably as good as anywhere, except perhaps with a shot like 93 where the window is open, so getting the driver sharp might be better - which I think you have done.
I tend to use Av and aim for say, f8 for better IQ, then manually set the ISO to get the shutter speed in to that range, I figure there is less chance of getting an under-exposed shot that way*, but perhaps I'm just perverse
* if lens cannot open any more and both iso and shutter speed are fixed, you've nowhere to go. So for same reason, I wouldn't use manual.
I admire your restraint, I'd have shot 600
(then spent so long weeding them out I couldn't be bothered to PP this many )

You've captured the speeding vehicle very well, only the cars looks stationary in each image except the last one. For fun I would take a few that have blurred motion added to the tail end.
