Well, you made fun of her all right -- and I like what I am looking at. Very artistic. I have read somewhere that in some culture (I forgot which one now...) the people there do not want to have their picture taken because they claim it steals a part of their soul. That statement stuck to my thinking for a long time that made me want to take pictures instead of my photo being taken...Here in this shot, you might as well have just that. Love it...

Ah yes, I've heard that about souls as well. I'm not keen on having my photo taken either which makes me feel a bit uneasy taking photos of strangers. I try to be discreet if I'm taking photos of people and if I can't be discreet I ask first.

(And if having your photo taken steals a bit of your soul, imagine what taking selfies must do!)
