Serenity in Glacier National Park
Before an early morning boat ride. Peaceful and calm.

Gorgeous. You've really handled the contrasts in light well and got it looking superb.
A couple of points:-
Does it need a clockwise rotation, or am I experiencing an optical illusion thinking the water is higher on the right? And, secondly, there's something trailing down from the bottom of the extreme right hand side branch which I find distracting.

A wonderful shot, Dave. The boats are perfect in the foreground to make a landscape into something much more dynamic. One nitpick, I might clone out the red clutter on the lower left, leaving the boats the only man-made thing in the image. But that's a detail: great image.
Cheers,
Rick

The red clutter is the rope from the boat. I will clone that out. That is tree lichen hanging down. I did not notice it before. I did clone out some large shadows on the left side of each boat. The sun was low in the south east and that was very distracting. I will also check the level.
Thanks for your comments.

It's a brilliant shot, Dave. It was brilliant before the minor fixes: like touching a tiny spec off a diamond.
Cheers,
Rick
