Since the aim of these is to get you taking and submitting photos, let see if it can also encourage people to post monochrome (black and white) images, even if that's not in their normal photography 'diet'.

    Here's how it works ...

    - You good folks post MONOCHROME images in the thread (please change your post title to a name for your picture)

    - When we get 10 images we will attach a voting poll

    - After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared!

    - If you would especially like some critique after the competition poll closes, please make it known in the post

    Too easy eh?

Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person.

If there are already 10 in the current comp, please start a new thread in this forum

    I DO NOT believe it!!!!!

There cannot really be something called the 'Pylon Appreciation Society'. But there before me is the evidence.

    Beam me up, Scotty.

You know, reading this, and my last post, I began to have doubts about retiring so early. But then I realized how stupid I was being. I mean, who wants to work when there are pylons to shoot?

Shoot power lines and pylons all day OR work. The choice would be an easy one for me.

I did a bit of juggling and put the 11th image into MC#22, that meant I also had to copy across an earlier dated/timed "Rob" post to keep the words at the top of the thread and deleted the one you started it with - clear as mud?

    Bottom line, all fixed.

Just got to do the poll here now.

    Thanks Rob and Donald.

    Cheers,

I feel really bad about this. Should I stop entering? Many thanks for the votes. I thought 'swimmers' very good - surprised it didn't do better. I like the pylons too, but then, I would.

Yes - go on holiday or something. Or not ... as the case may be!!
