Dragon Wing Begonia for Christina
A while back, Christina (Brownbear) was working on creating the look of Chinese Watercolors from some of her images and she inspired me as well.
So this is for her. Just a fancy.
Kodiak helped me to explore some options and then I got to work! This was an artistic interpretation of an image and it was fun. I used CS5 and Nik filters.
C&C welcome.

Re: Dragon Wing Begonia for Christina
Hi Marie,
Truly wonderful to know that something I tried inspired another. I've placed my learn how to create a Chinese Watercolour project on the back burner but you've inspired me with your post to remember to try it again. Perhaps I will have to check out that Nik package one day.
It's very pretty! Also remind's me of beautiful note paper. I love the colours and the pink vignette, and of course the water colour look. I hope you try it on some of your other flowers and share for all to learn from.
Thank you. What a lovely post to wake up to.

Dear Kim,
Thank you. PM me your address and I will have fun printing it and sending you your note! You, Christina and Izzie would be one of the first ones.

Thank you for the thoughts, Marie...will write to you soon...I like this Japanese note cards but I already have a lot of them made for me by my neighbour across the road. She is a painter too so she sends me a pack of her work each Christmas. I hang them on a string for each year instead of using them because they are just too beautiful to use...Good use of arts...actually enjoy looking at it...
