Helpful Posts: I had several exposed but undeveloped film. So I decided to had them developed. Most of them from my daughters bur one from me, long time ago. I could place the date augustus 1980. I had them developed last year, so they laid some 34 years somewhere, unconditioned, in 3 different houses. This will never happen with digital images.
The pictures show some riots following to the eviction of squatters.
With a bit of the cats.
This is a digital, newer, one. A few buildings been squattered for also over 30 years now evicted.

The eviction and riots are not the main issue. It's the speculation with houses, big projects etc. that chase away less rich people. It happens not only in Amsterdam. In every big city that becomes populair. Berlin, Paris, London, New York and also in India, China, Thailand. Some days before the eviction I made pictures too. Before the eviction many windows had signs Te Koop, For Sale.

Nothing much to show in the EXIF, I just want to know if this is recent shot. More opportunities there in the graffitis all over the place. Why is it, that no matter what country one lives in, when a certain area is in deterioration, some people are so passionate in expressing either artistic or not, their cartoons and graffiti on a wall. Some serious ones can be decorative but mos are just a nuisance to look at...
Anyway, I understand what you mean...it is a circle of life like death, taxes and government expenditures...then debts and loans. My husband and stepson has a friend in the Netherlands. His father owns a shipping business over there. He spent over two weeks with us as an exchange student. Very nice guy...They still communicate, still talks of politics...
